In 2005 Kirby Sommers, a New York real estate broker, founded Katrina Home Drive (KHD) to address the housing needs of those displaced by Hurricane Katrina. KHD was successful in finding homes and providing resources for individuals and families who found themselves scattered across all 50 states.
In 2007, inspired by her efforts with KHD, Kirby turned her attention to helping renters in her own back yard by creating Landlord Links. Until Landlord Links came along renters were an underserved community who had been fair game for unscrupulous real estate brokers, landlords and scam artists.
Landlord Links provide renters with access to information. This access allows anyone to rid themselves of tag along brokers, hefty broker fees, and provides our clients with information that levels the playing field between themselves brokers, landlords and management companies.
The early success of Landlord Links served as the foundation for the company’s reputation for innovation and unparallel service.
Our service options continue to expand. Nobody pursues the renter’s experience like we do. We don’t work for landlords and we don’t collect commission. Instead, we choose to work for renters with creative and proven methods that save people money and which educate our consumers for life.
Renters’ Services are our turf. We’re like this because we have a vision.
